		<description>i&#039;d go for digital and programmable to fit my bike...as what i did with the help of a gearing commander software to get my right rpm on a single cylinder 4 stroke engine...and based on the software in relation to speed...got my perfect digital tachometer with shift light..oh by the way, its a DIY,

		<description>You neglect to mention that electronic tachs will not all work correctly. Twins, singles, and fours all have different ignition systems, and the tach may read half your actual rpm, or double, depending on the application. This is not easy information to come by.
